This is one workshop NOT to miss. So grab your ticket, dig out your camera and we’ll see you there!
On the 15th September, we will be hosting an exciting workshop in partnership with London Wellness Guide called ‘Photography for Bloggers’ in collaboration with Anna Rachel Photography and SHOT London.
Made up of a mix of theory and practical tasks, you will learn to take drool-worthy pictures and still-life shots with personality to truly master the art of taking photos for your blog and Instagram feed.
You’ll also get the change to ask a photographer the tricks of the trade.
It’s really important to know how to work with a photographer. As Hayley shared in our article on photography tips for bloggers:
“Have a rough idea of your vision before you approach the photographer, so you can explain this to them in your first email or phone call. On shoot day, come as prepared as possible. This means having planned your location, your outfits, have your hair and makeup done and arrive on time. If you’ve really done your research, you might have a list of poses you want to try out based on reference images saved to your shoot vision board.”
Our teacher for the day is going to be Anna from Anna Rachel Photography.
Anna is a photographer with a passion for the health and fitness industry, this can include food, products or any sports that increase the heart rate generally making people healthier and happier. You can check Anna’s Portfolio and follow her on instagram at @annarachphotography
Our partner SHOT.London will be providing you with their real, organic whole food treats to style, prop and experiment with… and of course, eat!
We’ll have lots of food, props, and backgrounds for you to play with, so you’ll leave a pro photographer.
As photographer An Je shared with us on the magazine:
“It takes time to evolve your style and it will keep evolving itself too. You grow, see things differently, get inspired by your new environment etc. I guess continuity takes care of itself; as with all the photos that I take, I am reflecting on what is going on inside. Be it a photo of a coffee, a baby or a fashion portrait – it is your good eye that sees it all – you want your viewer to experience that ‘ah’ moment and see the detail you noticed.”
Are you ready to join us? You’ll wonder no more, as we have all the answers to your photography related questions.
A few of the things you’ll learn in this workshop:
- the basics of creating outstanding photos
- how to find the right props
- how to make the most of the lighting, and tools to help you
- filters, editing and basic tricks to find your style
