Are you giving Veganuary a try this month? Or perhaps you’re looking for a new and nutritious snack. We’ve tested a few of the plant-based delights on the market and here is our top 4. Let us know what you think, from healthy to rich and indulgent, all are free from animal products but full of flavour.
“Give Peas A Chance”! Hippeas are organic chickpea based puffs, like a tastier, healthier and 2019 updated wotsit. They are baked not fried, gluten free, packed with fibre and protein. They are also a wonderful company to support as Hippeas support Farm Africa to help farmers and their communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. The vegan puffs come in delicious and quirky-captioned flavours: cheese & love, in herbs we trust, far out fajita and (our favourite) sweet & smokin’.

Pulsin’ snacks embrace the natural rhythm of life with deliciously nourishing brownies, protein boosters and powders. Each product range has been crafted and nurtured by Ben, Nick and Simon – three university friends who, for the past decade, have shared the view that all people, of all ages should be able to eat healthy foods without compromising on taste. The range includes Raw Choc Brownies (they taste too delicious to be good for you!), Kids’ Fruity Oat Bars, Organic Beond fruit bars, flavoured and unflavoured Protein Powders and Protein Boosters that are full of the best quality ingredients.

Packed with flavour, Eat Boundless soak and bake their nuts and seeds to unleash their natural goodness. When you soak nuts and seeds you activate germination – the sprouting of a seed to a plant – which is why their soaked, activated nuts and seeds are super nutritious, lighter on your tummy and more in tune with nature. They come in four delicious flavours: Cayenne & Rosemary, Tamari & Aleppo, Orange, Ginger & Maple, and (our favourite) Turmeric & Smoked Paprika.
