I am a notorious insomniac, avid book reader, psychology nerd and #techforgood cheerleader – I run havingtime.com a digitally native story magazine and worldwide human-centric community that’s all about personal development, well-being, mindfulness and supporting mental health.
We publish bracingly inspiring and intelligent thinking with a broad worldview, built primarily for the devices closest at hand: tablets and mobile phones.
Our stories of contemporary thinking are rooted in a set of defining obsessions: core topics and knotty questions of seismic importance to real people.
One of my main struggles is finding balance and being more mindful and present.
I manage to have time for all the things that I want/need/choose to do, however, finding this formula took me a lot of years and hundreds of books to read!
Blogging allowed me to meet so many wonderful people from all over the world and all the walks of life – I feel privileged for working with them and learning from them.
“Trust the process. Don’t do things better, do better things” – Pete Trainor
Over the last seven years, HavingTime has been incredibly lucky to host hundreds, and we repeat, hundreds of authors, self-development experts, highly successful entrepreneurs from all over the globe contributing their unique voices to the community.
As a magazine, I only engage with the brands that truly provide value to the readers/people whose ethics and integrity are aligned with mine.
It’s a lot like dating, if you don’t click, you don’t click. Always have the best interest of the audience/people in mind. We only have ONE life, so focus on providing value, contributing to the positive change.
Any experience is an opportunity to learn.
