What does it take to be a health blogger? Do you have to constantly have a green smoothie in hand, workout five times a week, sprinkle spirulina on everything, and never let a deep-fried chip touch your lips? No, of course not. Even we love a bar of dairy milk chocolate and glass (or three!) of wine. Here to show that being healthy isn’t prescriptive is our team of balanced and beautiful health bloggers, who have kindly agreed to share with us their typical day. {HINT: they’re not balancing bowls of nice cream on their feet whilst doing headstands!}

Tasha from Tastefully Tash shares with us her typical day.

Meet Tasha

Hey! I’m a kiwi health food nut, artist, photographer and food stylist living in LA.

My typical day

My morning starts around 5.30am. I wake up, grab my soaked oats and protein jar and bike to the fitness centre in Santa Monica that I’m working for at the moment.

I finish at the fitness centre in time to get home and make lunch.  Lunch usually  involves throwing some veggies in the oven and making some form of raw baking (usually chocolate related). I then spend the afternoon scheduling social media, drawing or exploring LA. I’m not a big dinner person so I’m known for snacking through the afternoon and finding some lunch leftovers for dinner!

I love finishing the day off by running the Santa Monica steps which are close to where I live, followed by a cold shower and a dessert of dark chocolate.

My favourite quote

 “Be fearless in pursuit of what sets your soul on fire”

I love this quote because it’s how I would like to live my life.
