I’m a holistic health coach and wellness blogger over at Wholesome Stef from Sydney and it is my goal to inspire young girls and women to live their life to the fullest by becoming the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves, minus the deprivation, restriction, and obsession around food and exercise.
At the moment, every day is different.
I just started working part-time as a sales manager for @vieactivewear and focus the rest of my days on health coaching and blogging. But typically, my day starts with an early morning workout (think HIIT, barre, yoga or a strength circuit) followed by a smoothie, oatmeal or scrambled eggs with lots of veggies.
On my office days, I’ll start work at 9am, quickly head home for lunch (I have the luxury of living right around the corner to where I live) and head back to the office until 5pm. As I have lots of international clients that I coach through Skype, I also do sessions on those days once I come home from the office.
On days when I work from home, I take a bit more time for self-care in the morning. I’ll either journal or meditate in the morning and take an extra couple minutes in the bathroom to dry body brush or put on a hair mask. The rest of my day is crammed full with client sessions, recipe testing, photo shoots and lots of health and fitness events throughout the city.
Sydney has so much to offer!
I’m also a big believer in supporting other people in the scene and networking, so you’ll find me out and about catching up with people over coffee and lunch a lot. Thanks to my blog, I’ve been fortunate enough to connect with a lot of other like-minded people in the city and great blog opportunities developed from that as a result. I feel incredibly fortunate to be doing something I am so passionate about!
On weekends, you’ll find me wandering around my local farmers market, trying out new studios (I’m on ClassPass at the moment and love mixing up my workouts and pushing myself out of my comfort zone) or going for long coastal walks. I also took up surfing since I moved to Sydney, so that has been a great experience.
On Sundays I make sure to set a couple hours aside to meal prep and get all my meals ready for the week. It’s something I only started doing fairly recently, and it’s been a lifer changer!
My favourite quote
“You don’t have to be the same person you were 5 minutes ago.”
This is a great mantra to remind myself that I have the power to shape my life however I desire!
