Welcome to our New Blogger Spotlight. In this feature, we look through the newest bloggers to the community who have introduced themselves in the ‘New Bloggers‘ group. We then pick some of our favourite blogs that show the most promise to be featured on the HBC magazine. If you’re new to the community, check out our ‘Getting Started‘ guidelines, which have lots of advice on how to make the most of the platform and share your blog. Or, if you’re ready to start your own blog, try our ‘Zero to Hero‘ beginner’s blogging course in the HBC Academy!
Tahlia from Skating Tomato – About me
My name is Tahlia and I am a born and bred West Australian currently living and studying in London. I spend most of my time acting, writing, reading, music-ing and doing other such related activities, however I am also passionate about meandering my way to optimal health and wellbeing, and helping others do so as well.
Affordable. Healthful. Sustainable.
We may be the small, relatively new kid on the block, but we have a whole lot of love, enthusiasm, wisdom and inspiration to share. Dedicated to proving that a rich and responsible life is both appealing and accessible, Skating Tomato promises to learn, grow, make mistakes and conquer mountains right beside our followers. All the while remaining wide-eyed and forever curious.
Bringing together recipes, information, reviews and interviews from the plant-based and environmentally conscious world, we endeavour to bring an affordably abundant life closer to you each and every day.
We also love to make friends so do stop by to say hello!
How I got into Blogging/Instagramming
I started doing freelance recipe development and nutrition/wellbeing article writing a few years back and it is something I absolutely love doing. However, I noticed there was a gap in the market when it came to being student-friendly and widely accessible, so I started Skating Tomato to spread the ethical, healthful love to the young people and future leaders of the world.
