Hi! I’m Shannon — the voice, recipe developer, and food photographer behind the lighthearted and colourful food blog Pass Me Some Tasty.
I’m also a wife, mother of two young energetic daughters, and a certified pre- and postnatal group fitness instructor for an amazing organisation called Fit4Mom, in which I teach strength and cardio classes and provide support for moms in every stage of motherhood.
On my blog, Pass Me Some Tasty, I share gluten-free recipes from my kitchen that are ‘mostly’ healthy, seasonal, and approachable to the everyday cook.
Through interacting with my readers on my various social media platforms, my hope is to inspire them to try new recipes that are absent of artificial and processed ingredients, and that appeal to those both requiring a gluten-free lifestyle and those who do not. I believe healthy and tasty recipes have the ability to inspire conversation and community around the dinner table, bringing people from all walks of life together.
When I became a full-time stay at home mother, I began longing for a creative outlet where I could regain some of my personal identity as well as share the enjoyment I take in the process of creating something delicious and tasty in the kitchen.
One day while I was reading through some blogs that I personally enjoy, I had a light bulb moment where I realised I could create my own blog too and use it as a source for learning, personal growth, creativity, and of course tasty recipes.
