And we’re totally loving the slogan: ‘wake up, kick ass, repeat’.
Where do you teach?
I teach 4 days at week at F45 Shepherds Bush (the largest F45 Studio in Europe), but I can be found there most days as I genuinely love the classes, and doing them myself regularly has really improved both my strength and fitness over the past 6 months. I also teach at the brand new immersive cycling studio First Light in Westfield London and can be found on the stage there 5 times a week.
Where can we find you training?
As I mentioned above, I really enjoying taking part in the classes at F45 Shepherds Bush with my team – I love that no two workouts are the same and I also love how many people I’ve met since working there. Every session feels like training with friends and the community is so supportive. I also try to hop into my colleagues classes at First Light as much as I can – we went through an intense training academy together this year and as a result have become an extremely tight knit team and I love spending time with them and enjoying their spin classes. Because we create our own playlists for classes I really enjoying hearing other people’s music and how they structure a class around the songs, it always inspires me with my own! I also enjoy working out at Psycle, Barrys, KOBox and 1Rebel, as well as just hitting my local gym to lift weights on my own – headphones in, no distractions!
What’s your favourite studio to release anger and stress?
Probably KOBox – I really enjoy boxing and hitting those water-filled bags feels very satisfying!
Favourite place in London to rest and reset?
Rest and reset is something I don’t do anywhere near enough of. Before my friend Hannah Cluley moved to Bali I used to really enjoy her yoga classes at Studio One in Islington. I actually really need to find somewhere in West London to do more yoga and have a bit more “me time” so if anyone has any recommendations please send them my way! I actually use massage as a way to reset my body and swear by sports massages from my friend Loic at Notting Hill Chiropractic – he most definitely keeps my body going and has fixed me up from minor injuries on many occasions!
Best changing rooms in London and why?
I’m obsessed with the cold lavender face towels at 1Rebel, and equally as obsessed with the smell of the Malin and Goetz candles at Barrys, so probably one of those two! I’m also pretty biased, but the changing rooms at First Light get just as many Instagram shares as our studio – they feel like a luxury spa and a shower with the Mauli Rituals products is always a treat!
If you had unlimited classes which exercise would you choose?
As my answers have highlighted, I need to spend some more time doing yoga and pilates, so I guess I’d use them trying out various yoga classes in West London to try and find one that works for me!
