Now that we are all waiting for Summer in anticipation, we thought we would brighten your day with some PJ Kombucha Mocktails.

All three are a twist on traditional Cocktails that we all know and love, but that can be enjoyed at anytime of the year, virgin or with a touch of alcohol if the day calls for it!

PJ Kombucha Orange-Hibiscus Cosmopolitan

Ingredients

  • 125 ml of PJ Orange Hibiscus Kombucha
  • 60 ml Homemade Orange Syrup
  • 10 ml of freshly squeezed lime or half a lime.
  • One large sprig of thyme
  • Ice cubes

Garnish with a twisted slice of orange peel with pith removed and a small sprig of thyme through the centre

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and fill halfway with ice, ensuring to add sprig of thyme to shaker. Mix.  
  2. Pour into a tall glass and garnish.

Note: Make sure to ‘burb’ the shaker during mixing.

PJ Kombucha Ginger & Lime Margarita 

Ingredients

  • 120 ml PJ Ginger & Lime Kombucha
  • 1.5 or 2 Limes depending on personal choice
  • 2 teaspoons of Agave syrup
  • 60 ml Pure coconut water
  • Ice

Garnish with a half moon slice of lime and half the glass rim of sea salt.

Instructions for On The Rocks

  1. Rub half the lip of the glass with lime and dip into seasalt.
  2. Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and fill halfway with ice, ensuring to add the agave syrup last. Mix.
  3. Add 5-6 ice cubes to a short rock glass and pour mix over ice.
  4. Garnish with lime.

Note: Make sure to ‘burb’ the shaker during mixing.

Instructions for the frozen version

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender, fill with ice, ensuring to add agave last. Blend until icy consistency.
  2. Pour into a tall glass.
  3. Garnish with lime and a pineapple leaf.
