Miranda Hardacre of Running on Porridge – About Me

I am a 20 year old university student living in London with a passion for anything food and fitness related! I love running more than anything else in the world as it’s time where I can totally be myself. If I’m not out running, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen baking up a storm or snuggled up with a good book. You can also find me on Instagram: @Running_on_porridge

My Mission

My aim is to share my passion for food and fitness and inspire other people to start cooking healthily, start running and start being happy! As someone who has struggled with food related problems, I know how important it is to have a solid support network, and as I have grown and developed so much myself, I would now love to be that support for anyone I can! My blog is designed to show that cooking healthily can be quick and easy, that you don’t have to be an elite athlete to get fit and run and that deciding to love yourself isn’t as hard as it seems.

How I got into Blogging / Instagramming:

I initially started my Instagram as a way of motivating myself to eat well, eat enough and train hard after I signed up for my first half marathon. I was so amazed by the reception that I got within the first couple of weeks!  I decided to build on that and start my blog to inspire others to have a healthy relationship with food and fitness, and show people just how easy it is to be healthy and happy.

The post you’ll love…

My chocolate chip banana bread has to be one of my all time favourite recipes- it’s a complete crowd pleaser and can be made totally dairy/refined sugar/gluten free and vegan!
