My dietary lifestyle has ebbed and flowed throughout the years! I believe that balance is incredibly important, so I try to feed my family mostly healthy recipes with a few of our favourite indulgent homemade treats thrown in every now and then.

My favourite recipe to come from my kitchen is for these Peanut Butter Breakfast Bars! I created this recipe during my first year teaching for an easy, healthy, portable breakfast that was high in fibre and protein. I literally (no joke) eat one every morning for breakfast with a green smoothie, and have done since I created them 8 years ago!
