We love celebrating the very best from the foodies in our community, who inspire us with their delicious and drool-worthy creations on a daily basis.
On the foodie spotlight, we share with you an insight into the person behind the inspirational recipes and mouth-watering Instagram posts.
Hi ! My name is Kris and I am from Bulgaria.
I love cooking , reading books / listening to music and going out with friends. I like spending a lot of time outside , interacting with nature as much possible. I love to travel and pet stray animals. Everyone needs a little love , right? I’m a plant-based foodie , celiac too.
I try to eat balanced amounts of carbs, proteins and healthy fats. Nutrition is very important for me, so my menu includes a lot of (glutenfree) grains , seeds , fruits , veggies , a lot of greens and superfoods (such as maca , spirulina , wheat grass , matcha , etc.). Sadly not all food pictures I take make it to my Instagram page.
I love preparing overnight jars.
My most favourite overnight jar is chia pudding with either plain soyghurt or coconut yoghurt (whenever I have some at home) and the best thing is that every day I can make a different flavour so it’s not boring. Plus it’s a meal packed with proteins and fibres that keep me going for at least 3-4 hours. After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day!
I have a lot of favourite recipes , but for me the one that stands out (mostly because it was extremely hot the day I created it) is the one for my “Freshh Insanity” nice cream jar. A total life saver in the extreme heat during the hottest months of the year.
There are so many food bloggers I love, I can’t pick just one.
Some of my favourite food bloggers are Stephanie (@jarsandbowls), Thomas (@hazelnutbliss), Consuelo (@earthytaste) and Marie (@papaya_sunshine). I am absolutely in love with their pages & they inspire me on a daily basis. Also they are really amazing people and great friends.
