I currently work in the food industry and have a real interest in the health and fitness industry. I have a passion for creating natural, bright, plant-based foods that are nutrient dense and delicious.
My typical day
My mornings start early, up way before the sun as I work super early shifts for my job. It’s usually quick out the door, but I always start the day with a warm lemon water and green juice on the drive to work. Breakfast is always fruit, whether it be in a smoothie bowl or fruit salad, I just find it fuels me better until lunch time. Lunch time is mostly vegetables, avocado and another green juice and then it’s back to work for a few hours before going home to create some magic.

Afternoon is where feather and crumb starts to happen, and most days it begins with a quick workout, followed by some relaxation or yoga. After this, food preparation begins, and the hours spent day dreaming of delicious rainbow creations while sitting at my desk can become a reality.
This process usually takes hours, prepping up different foods like slices, cakes, or smoothie bowls, then photographing the outcomes, which is probably the most time consuming aspect. All of my foods for the next day are done in this prep time, so my beautiful swirled smoothie bowl is made the night before, photographed, left overnight and transported to work (hopefully in one piece) for breakfast time.
Dinner is always easy, usually a salad or cooked veggies with a protein, like tofu, beans or meatless meat items. I am really not much of a savoury dish person, as my social media shows, I am all about the sweet treats and fruit displays, so dinner could stand to be more inventive. Afterwards, an evening walk is a great way to clear the head and help digestion. Then its back home to photo-editing, tea and an early bed time, ready to do it all again the next day!
